S‘TRUTH’ING AROUND, INVITING TROUBLE

GOVERNMENT SHOULD DEAL STERNLY WITH RIOTERS; IF CAN’T THEN QUIT!
Truth is bitter, a saying which has proved itself time and again. Tasting bitter for the Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany, the truth has created ripples of protests and violence in Hungary’s capital – Budapest. With the Prime Minister revealing the “truth”, crisis brews in Hungary, hit by a crumbling economy. As the Prime Minister’s confession became public, the furore it created was not unexpected. Protest and rallies demanding the PM’s resignation marked the month. Reacting to the situation, Socialist Parliamentary faction leader Ildiko Lendvai said, “We can’t abandon this path. Even if it weren’t arsonists and looters demanding his resignation, we still wouldn’t consider it.”
